Modus Architectural Projects Inc. (Modus-AP) is a Victoria, BC based design-build firm that provides architectural design, project management and construction services for the residential market. We focus on single-family new construction and renovations, as well as small-scale multi-unit residential developments (duplex, triplex, quadplex, multi-plex, and townhouses).

Robert and Jane have worked in the architecture industry for almost 25 years with most of that experience gained while practicing in Los Angeles, CA as Modus Design Group, a high-end single-family residential design firm.
During our tenure in Los Angeles, we collaborated with several other firms from around the world (London, New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil, New York), to create several amazing projects in the Greater Los Angeles area. These collaborations introduced us to a variety of unique architectural styles, alternate design solutions, operating systems, and provided exposure to a global network of manufacturers and suppliers. In 2023, we decided to return to our roots in Canada, partnered with Jesse Skulmoski of Skulmoski Contracting and transformed our practice to include construction and project management services, becoming Modus Architectural Projects based out of Victoria, British Columbia.
It is this experience and knowledge that forms the core of Modus-AP and we are excited to offer our residential design-build services to the Canadian market.
